European coffee masters will meet in Pärnu in October 2016

Pärnu’s new spa and conference hotel will welcome two international conferences in October 2016.

On 5-8 October 2016, the hotel’s spa and conference building hosts nearly 100 European coffee roasters. Roaster Camp 2016 offers workshops, seminars, round-table discussions and team roasting challenges. The top annual European coffee roasters’ event is organized by the Roaster Guild of Europe, http://roasterguildofeurope.com/rc16/.

On 10-13 October 2016, the hotel hosts Barista Camp 2016, which is expected to draw 300 participants from all across Europe. The event focuses on developing barista skills and sharing ideas and experiences. The conference on Thursday also offers lectures by top European specialists in the field, and there is naturally time for tastings. The annual highlight event of European baristas is organized by the Barista Guild of Europe, http://www.baristaguildofeurope.com/bc16b/

Barista Camp is an annual Europe-wide gathering that took place in Athens, the capital of Greece, in 2014 and in Riccione, an Italian resort town, in 2015. Pärnu and Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa 4* was chosen out of 44 candidates, among them last-round competitors such as Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Vilnius. Both top events are also sponsored by the City of Pärnu.
