Estonia’s most innovative conference 2016 took place in Pärnu
Last year’s most innovative conference took place in Pärnu, at ESTONIA Resort Hotel & Spa**** spa and conference hotel. Pärnu has strengthened its position among international conference destinations.

On 11 January 2017, Swissotel Tallinn hosted the annual gala event organized by the Estonian Convention Bureau, where last year’s best international conferences held in Estonia were awarded for their excellence.
Estonia’s Most Innovative Conference Solution 2016 award went to Roaster Camp 2016, which was held at Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa and brought 130 top coffee roasters from 18 countries across the world to Pärnu. Most Innovative Conference Solution award is given to an international conference with at least 100 participants that has incorporated new technologies, special locations and formats, unique free time programs or other novel and creative solutions. In 2016, Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa hosted 138 conferences and bigger events that brought almost 6400 visitors, including 1400 international visitors from 40 different countries, to Pärnu. Therefore, Pärnu has become a serious destination for international conference tourism, proving that high-quality conference services and interesting free time activities bring visitors to Pärnu even in the fall-winter season and from more distant countries.
Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa continues to represent Pärnu as a conference destination in 2017 by collaborating with Estonian Convention Bureau and Enterprise Estonia at events introducing Estonia as a business tourism destination in Helsinki, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Brussels and at an international business tourism convention in Barcelona.
